We are delighted to announce a three-part CSL in Session series, Everyday Evaluations, presented by the Colorado State Library’s Library Research Service!

We’ve all been asked to evaluate a piece of our work at some point! In this three-part series, we will share strategies to collect and communicate actionable data ethically and efficiently.

Part 1 – Ethics

In this session we will lay the groundwork for responsible research in libraries by covering ethical (and not so ethical) uses for data. This will include a discussion on library law and tips for vetting the vendors that libraries work with to ensure their practices are in line with the library’s standards. Then, we will wrap up with an activity showing how even anonymized data can be re-identified if certain details are shared carelessly!

Registration is required

Be sure to register for all 3 CSL in session webinars!
