About the presenters:
Chris Newell currently serves as the director of Public Services for Grand County Library District and has been in the position since November 2020. Having worked as a Teacher Librarian in Iowa, she also has first-hand experience working with children ages PreK – Grade 6 in the elementary school library setting. She enjoys a little friendly competition and loves to awaken her inner thespian, so Book Madness is right up her alley.
Emily Pedersen is a former middle school teacher and currently serves as branch manager at both the Kremmling and Hot Sulphur Springs Libraries. She has years of outreach experience to the schools in her community and works hard to cultivate relationships with students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community members. She is an avid Storytime facilitator and Growing Readers Together advocate and brings her knowledge and love of picture books to the team!
