Join us for an engaging workshop series designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to handle workplace conflict with poise and professionalism.

Through practical, hands-on learning, you’ll gain deeper insights into the underlying dynamics of
workplace disagreements, understand your role in managing tough situations, and learn how to navigate challenging conversations with ease.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The Psychology of Conflict: Unpack the emotional and cognitive factors that drive
    conflicts.
  • Conflict Escalation: Recognize the warning signs and learn to de-escalate effectively.
  • Self-Regulation: Identify techniques to stay calm and composed under pressure.
  • Conflict Styles and Strategies: Discover your conflict style and how to adapt for better outcomes.
  • Difficult Conversations: Develop skills for addressing sensitive topics constructively.
  • Effective Problem-Solving Frameworks: Implement strategies for sustainable conflict resolution.

Dates:

  • Part I – Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM MT
  • Part II: Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM MT

Location:
Virtual sessions via Zoom. To maximize your learning experience, please be prepared to join from your own device with reliable internet, audio, and video capabilities.

  • This workshop series is limited to 24 participants to ensure an interactive and engaging experience.
  • Due to anticipated demand, the workshop will be limited to 3 individuals per library organization. (We will maintain a wait list for cancellations).
  • To allow for open dialogue, the Zoom class will not be recorded.

Registration is required, and will open on January 2, 2025.

  • Be ready to participate actively using both Zoom audio and video.
  • Be committed to enhancing your workplace relationships and applying what you
    learn.

About the presenter:

Luke Wiesner headshotLuke Wiesner has been a Conflict Specialist since 2014, providing mediation, coaching, training and facilitation to workplaces, families, neighbors, community organizations and individuals. He has worked internally with non-profit organizations and higher education institutions to create and design conflict management systems and programs. Working as an external consultant, Luke has worked with local government agencies, higher education institutions, assisted living communities, hospitality businesses, non-profits, boards of directors and many other complex teams to support conflict transformation.
